Can Ohio Substitute Teachers file weekly unemployment claims?
I have been working as a Substitute Teacher in Ohio for four months and schools will be out for around two weeks for Christmas so I wont have work. Can I file a claim to get unemployment for a week? I typically work 35 hrs a week.
I am afraid it will be a nightmare where I work for multiple schools, any direct information would be greatly appreciated.

You need to show that you have been laid off from a steady job in order to collect unemployment. Being a substitute is not having a steady job , '''Even if you are called every day, you are a day worker and are not subject to unemployment insurance.
