The Little Baby has grown up, so how will He bring Peace and Goodwill to Earth ?

Men of Goodwill.” When an angel announced the birth of Jesus, he appeared, not before the religious leaders of the Jews, but before humble shepherds. After he told the shepherds of the birth of the Messiah, an angelic host proclaimed: “Glory in the heights above to God, and upon earth peace among men of goodwill.” (Lu 2:14) The angels were not proclaiming peace to God’s enemies, who were not at peace with him. “‘There is no peace,’ my God has said, ‘for the wicked ones.’” (Isa 57:21) The King James Version renders Luke 2:14: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” But God was not here expressing goodwill toward men in general; neither did he mean that his peace was extended to those inclined toward him merely in a friendly and indulgent way. Rather, God had reference to those who would please him by genuine faith in him and who would become followers of his Son.

    “And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;

    Daniel 2:44

    This is the only Government that will bring Peace, Security and Goodwill to the earth. Jesus taught us to pray for it at Matthew 6:10. He is the enthroned King and will rule in righteousness. Man will never again rule as they are incapable of doing what the Kingdom will do for us.

    Religion today sees Jesus as a babe in a manger and a man on a cross. They don't realize what they are asking for when saying "The Lords Prayer' as they are just reciting words and not thinking about what they mean. Jesus is the anointed one of Jehovah God and ruling as King in the Heavens, awaiting rulership over the earth and those on it.

    Very thought-provoking question you have here. :)

    I often wonder why the focus is on Jesus Christ as a baby in a mangar when he is now in Heaven as a Great King! In fact he truly is the only one to bring about Peace & Security, though that remains illusive to people for some reason.

    After-all, it is not about our birth but about our life at the end of it all. And how much we can discuss regarding Jesus life and all he accomplished.

    Part of an article:

    SOME six thousand years ago, the first human baby was born. His name was Cain, and his birth was very special. Neither his parents, nor the angels, nor even the Creator had seen a human baby before. This newborn infant could have brought hope to a condemned human race. How disappointing it was when, after he grew up, he became a murderer! (1 John 3:12) Since then mankind has witnessed countless other murders. Humans, inclined as they are to do bad, are not at peace with one another or with God.—Genesis 6:5; Isaiah 48:22.

    Some four millenniums after the birth of Cain, another baby was born. His name was Jesus, and his birth too was very special. He was born of a virgin, by the power of holy spirit—the only such birth in history. At the time of his birth, a multitude of joyful angels sang praises to God, saying: “Glory in the heights above to God, and upon earth peace among men of goodwill.” (Luke 2:13, 14) Far from being a murderer, Jesus opened the way for humans to be at peace with God and to gain everlasting life.—John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:55.

    Isaiah prophesied that Jesus would be called “Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6) He would offer his own life in behalf of mankind, thus making possible the forgiveness of sins. (Isaiah 53:11) Today, peace with God and the forgiveness of sins can be attained on the basis of faith in Jesus Christ. But such blessings are not automatic. (Colossians 1:21-23) Those who want them must learn to obey Jehovah God. (1 Peter 3:11; compare Hebrews 5:8, 9.) In Isaiah’s day, Israel and Judah do exactly the opposite.

    Yes, baby Jesus has grown up!

    He is now the King of the Kingdom that he taught us to pray for : "your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in the heavens."

    Rather than thinking of him as so many do, as a helpless baby lying in a manger, Jehovah's people think of him as that ruling King in the heavens with his father.

    Christ will soon usher in that Kingdom under his father's direction and bring peace and "goodwill" to all mankind who appreciates that Kingdom.

    Certainly not by creating yet another religion. Jesus, if he did exist, was a lying lunatic and God, of course, is the main character in ancient myths.
