Question

My friend downloaded a pretty nasty virus with the title that I put above. We've tried everything to get rid of it and have logged into his computer in:

Safe Mode: Networking Mode.

We've attempted numerous methods to get rid of the virus however there is a black screen that wont allow us to access the start panel or anything else on his computer. Even if we hit the Windows key on his keyboard, it disappears instantly.

Any suggestions on how to remove this virus? Thank you.

Consider using a Windows Recovery disc of some kind. It can get you access to your computer, with out booting up anything on the hard drive (such as the virus) directly. After that, you can run your AntiVirus from the live disc and see if it can kill the virus. If that doesn't work, you may have to reinstall Windows from scratch. Good luck!
