What is the difference between "Reality" and "reality" in terms of psychology?

What is the difference between "reality" and "Reality"? How does psycho physics allow us to bridge the two?

    The psychological approach to reality is usually that of a reductive materialism - how does the brain account for our perception of the world? Or a functionalism, which is that we can infer a generalization of the human account of reality because all humans are essentially the same.
