    [8]log9 = x < [8] mean the base of log

    [2^3]log 3^2 = x < move the power to the left side

    3/2 . [2]log3 < here is your answer

    this means 8 to the x power, so x is the exponent of 8

    x log(8) = log(9)

    x = log(9) / log(8)
