Questions about melanoma?

I have a few questions about skin cancer if anyone could answer it would be a help. :)

1. Is it painful to most people? Or is it barely noticeable?

2. Are you more likely to get melanoma if your older? (Like 60-70?)

3. Are larger moles more likely to become melanoma?

Thank you. :)

Most cases of melanoma are not painful. Most people find them by incidence. Age is not a factor with melanoma - you can get it at any age if you don't take care of your skin. I'm not sure if larger moles have anything to do with it, but you should definitely get them checked out if you notice any change of color, shape, size or consistency. Like if you see the mole getting bigger with fuzzy borders, that's something you want to take care of and soon.
