Is it possible to lose 20 pounds in 14 days?
Need to lose weight by Xmas , gonna try brocolli and salmon diet and drink loads of water

To lose 20 pounds in 14 days is possible, but not to your average Joe. It would take extreme dedication and probably unhealthy practices.
It is possible to lose enough by optimizing any of three factors: exercise, diet, or a drug/supplement regimen.
Workout hard, lots of running, cycling, rowing or whatever cardio workout takes your fancy. You have to really work hard. I'm talking working until you want to throw up.
The simplest is the diet. Just follow some simple rules
Avoid all 'white' carbohydrates
Eat the same meals over and over - Eat as much as you want from the below list but keep it simple so you stick to it:
- proteins (eggs, chicken, beef, pork, fish
- Beans/Legumes (lentils, black beans, pinto beans, red beans, soybeans
- Vegetables (mixed veg, spinach, peas, asparagus, green beans, broccoli
Don't Drink calories - Drink lots of water
Avoid fruit - Fructose will get stored as fat. Tomatoes are O.K
Have one day a week where you eat what you want
If you do this, you'll easily lose weight. I'm not sure about 20 pounds in 14 days though.
