How many sentences are in one paragraph?

I want the minuscule amount and the maxim amount.

    As far as I know there aren't minimum or maximum limitations. Each sentence, that starts from a new line and expresses a different thought than the previous one, is called a paragraph. Even a one-line sentence can be a paragraph. That's how I know it. I hope that'll be useful my friend.

    Hi Lexy,

    I am an English teacher and I personally have a rule - 5-7 sentences as an average. But what it depends on the complexity of the sentence - as the previous comment mentions, sometimes 3 is adequate.

    So I guess to answer your question as you have it above

    Minimum = 3

    Maximum = 7-10

    Hopefully that answers your question.

    Usually 5-7 sentences but it really doesn't matter! But usually more than 3.

    I'd say 4-6 on average. I usually write about 5-10 but i'm a writer and a talker. lol
