is this website a legit site? or is it a scam?

http://www.koobay.com/

Is it real? all the prices seem too low. I'm looking at buying a phone on it, and the price looks about a hundred off.

also, it won't list the name of the phone, just all the specs. here is the phone- http://www.koobay.com/ms?rt=detail&pid=25487 what is this phones actual name?

I looked it up online and nowhere said that it was a scam. a few people said they have bad customer support if you get a factory defective phone, but is that all?

    1. There are grammatical errors and spelling errors on the site

    2. There is a contact email address that is @gmail.com

    3. The website's mailing address is a PO Box, not an actual physical address.

    4. The domain name is registered in the name:

    Surname: Koobay

    Forename: Service

^ That is not a good sign, but with some googling I found the real owner and he owns a number of other sites registered to the same PO Box.

So yea, I would say scam.

Looking at resellerratings [1] feedback, although very limited for a site that's 7 years old, is mostly positive but as suspected there is a bad review which states getting in touch with their customer service is nigh on impossible. I would say if you want to risk it then go for it, personally I wouldn't.

Oh and that phone looks like it is meant to be a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini which is available on Amazon here [2] for $10 more. I would go with Amazon at least then you know you have customer service and a reliable company you can contact.

Why do people buy products from unknown garbage sites like this? Anything you buy is probably a chinese knockoff product .....
