About losing hope in humanity: This chick feels your pain - I've posted similar questions & people seem to ignore the music I've listed & decide to list what they like REGARDLESS if their taste in music is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from my taste in music. After what I get for suggestions, what is considered 'popular' music & what rules the radio - I begin to lose hope, too!

Can't people read & have some decency?! I love how you ask for people NOT to give U an opinion on your taste in music (which I happen to think is great) and they ignore you. I think the only time I knock someones taste in music, is when they say they like Justin Beiber or Kesha - that's when I HAVE to say something - cause when it comes to them: sorry but ewww! I don't want someone slamming who I like - so I try not to do it - ESPECIALLY when they don't want an opinion (like you)!

You are making this really difficult; there are SO MANY bands that you already listed that I would've suggested. So, I'll rack my brain & try not to repeat (sorry if I do) the ones that you've listed (LOVE that you listed so many- gives better idea of your taste). I really hope that you might like some of my suggestions (very eclectic. I'm not into religion, so if I listed ones that happen to be religious, the it's cause I didn't know) and hope my ist helps you get a little bit of your humanity restored :)

If you haven't already, look into some of 30 Seconds To Mars lesser known songs, like VALHALLA, OCCAM'S RAZOR, ANARCHY IN TOKYO, THE BELIEVER (SOME OTHER SON), etc. There's a whole list of non-LP & live only stuff. If you follow these links, you'll find a list of songs w/ individual links to most songs:

    http://www.last.fm/group/30+Seconds+To+Mars+Army/f...

The Anix - WARNING SIGNS, SLEEPWALKER, IN THE DARK, LONG WAY OUT

    The Veer Union

Red - FACELESS, LET IT BURN, etc (they remind me a bit of Linkin Park)

Black Lab - ANYTHING (this version http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=Ygw5rBgCpwc&desktop... ), BRING IT ON, WEIGHTLESS, etc

    My Chemical Romance

    Cold

    Otherwise

    10 Years

    The Gaslight Anthem

    12 Stones

    Thousand Foot Krutch

    Three Days Grace

And You Will Know Us By The Trail of the Dead (aka Trail Of The Dead) - CATERWAUL

    Stone Sour

    Five Finger Death Punch

    Hoobastank

    Yellowcard

    Asking Alexandria

    Imagine Dragons

    Rev Theory

    Ghost Of August

    Aranda

    Sent By Ravens

    Ashes Remain

    Evans Blue

    Young Guns

    3 Doors Down

    Seether

    City Archaic

    Neon Trees

    Ringside

    Snow Patrol

    Muse

    Spoon

Florence + The Machine - SHAKE IT OUT, NO LIGHT-NO LIGHT, DRUMMING SONG

    Garbage

BANDS THAT HAVE BEEN AROUND A WHILE, BUT MIGHT CHECK OUT:

    Collective Soul

    Filter

Goo Goo Dolls (their older stuff was more Punk)

    Shinedown

    Soundgarden

    Bush

    Hinder

    Creed

    Cavo

The Veils - SIT DOWN BY THE FIRE

    Remy Zero

    The Killers

    OLDIES BUT GOODIES:

    The Cure

    INXS

    The Clash

    Live

    Jesus Jones

    Smashing Pumpkins

    Queensryche

    Depeche Mode

A GREAT TRICK TO REMEMBER :

Within Amazon (think iTunes has similar feature, I just purchase more through Amazon): ln MP3 catergory, enter the name of band you like; click on an album; when the page opens, under that album's tracks it will say " Customers who bought..."; it is a list of other albums you might like. Sometimes you have to scroll through a bunch before U get lucky, but a lot of times it can worth the search :)

Your list makes me lose all hope in humanity.

By the way, I'd love to hear your reasoning as to how "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Escape the Fate" are any better than "Panic! at the Disco" or "Paramore".
