is this video card compatible with my pc?

my computer summary

processor: AMD sempron(tm) 140 2.70 ghz

Installed ram: 4.00 gb

system type: 64-bit operating system, x64 based processor

pci express x16 port

this is the graphics card

please help me out.

    The simple answer is yes, it is compatible

    First it is one of the smaller cards so it should physically fit, assuming you do not have a small form factor case.

    It will also connect to your monitor as it supports both new and old types of connectors.

    The only other thing to consider is whether the PC power supply can support any additional power requirement for this card.

    That is, if you have a fairly small PSU then placing additional load may cause it to shut down your PC under load (it won't damage anything though).

    Fortunatley this video card has quite low power demands so I'd say you'd be safe.

    As the other poster suggested your CPU is rather low power, but then again this video card is no giant either.

    Bottom line is it depends on what programs you want to run on it. Look at each software's recommended requirements, not the minimum. If you have only minimum and you are gaming it will suck.
