I watched both anime at the same time and I always prefered Yu Yu hakusho over DBZ because I liked the plot better. DBZ will always be remember though.

Yusuke and Goku are equal to me. they both have their unique personalities

Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite anime of all time. Not counting the single box set series, it's the first and possibly only series that I will buy completely.

However, I like Goku a bit more as a character. He's more fun to be around.

I enjoyed Yu Yu Hakusho,yet i could no longer truly stick to it DBZ is probable my in demand anime of all time,and is probable the superb anime of all time Naruto..heh i gave up on that when 30 episodes,i became so bored and maximum of followers form of ruined it for my area so dont like naruto in any respect,and that i've got seen some similarities with DBZ so..yea
