Essay referencing: don't know publisher,paper was written by 2 college profs,do you put down the college?

For example: Prof. Max Smith, University of Boston and Prof. Jane Doe, University of Miami. Would you put:

Smith, M., Doe, J., (n.d) Plant Life on Pluto, University of Boston, University of Miami.

(n.d) because I have no date. Thanks.

Or do you leave out the universities altogether? Thanks

    Ask your Prof as some will not accept it either way. Where did you read it? The source is more important than the institution they worked for unless it was word of mouth. You are treading on dangerous ground if this is college level.
