    2-(-3/8)

    2+(3/8)

    16/8 + 3/8

    19/8

    4p/6+27=39

    4p/6 =12

    4p=72

    p=18

    3% * 55

    .03 * 55

    $1.65

    5200-3140= 2060

    2060/5200 = 0.396

    0.396 = 39.6% rounds to 40%

    |p|/5 +1=0

    |p|/5 = -1

    |p| = -5

    p = 5. (Absolute vales are always positive)

    |2x| > 14

    |x| > 7

    x > 7

    Draw a straight dotted line vertically through (7,0) and shade everything to the right of that line

    x + 260 + 200 = 480

    x + 460 = 480

    x = 20
