Why do you like or dislike grammar?

    Hmm. Look at it this way.

    There's a difference between the following sentences...

    1. Lets eat, Grandma.


    2. Lets eat Grandma.

    The first sentence implies that someone is urging Grandma to eat with them.

    The second implies that the specified subjects are going to EAT Grandma.

    I think that I have made my point.
