Why do the British speak American?
Those limeys stole our language and added a bunch of U's for no good reason. ColoUr? ArmoUr? FavoUrite?
They can't even pronounce the letter H.
What the hell, Britain? Get your own language.

It all happened when Ben Franklin took a trip to across the Ocean and dicovered Great Brian. Since the natives were illiterate savages, he and Tom Jefferson tried to tame them. Unfortunatly it was in vane, as they have never evolved as normal people do. The English "accent" is merely a symptom of the extra chromosome that all people living in Great Britan have

Because our English (American) originated from England (when the colonies were still under the rule of the monarchy)
