how train for my first 5k?
im running a 5k on thanksgiving. and i have only 3 days to train. i really want to do good, and i know its my first one but how can i train?

If you have 3 days to train then you should try going for a jog in the morning for maybe 30 minutes and doing fartlek (speed play-run hard for 3 minutes and jog for 1 minute for 25 minutes in total) in the evening. I would also recommend doing sit ups and push ups.

You would normally stop training 3 days before a race to build energy and let the body recover. Training now will not do anything except wear you out. It takes time to build fitness. You should have been thinking about this 2 or 3 months ago.
