Who benefits/loses from outlawing sales on Sundays?

Some localities prohibit merchants from selling goods on Sundays. Who gains and who loses by such laws?

    The gainers are mostly the rent-seekers who open their garage for black business.I'm so sure that they don't pay any cents which we call taxes. The price is also higher than the market price. The other losers are consumers.The high price causes the loss of consumer surplus.In Germany, it is the way to protect the cashiers who do not want to be part of their families on family day. It said,it does not care if it cannot create more jobs because of that. And they curse so loudly to the Sunday drivers because they need more way for their most speediest cars. If your fight lands on Sunday over there,you are starving.
