Can i get a driver license if im not a us citizen?

I have a valid student visa F1 that expires in 2015 (and i also have valid I20 and I94). I've been living in Miami FL since 2010. I go to college and i need a car, i heard that with my type of visa i am allowed to get a license and drive here in the us until the expirement date of my visa. I want to know if its true, and if yes what am i supposed to do to get one?

    Sure.

You are temporarily residing in the United States with permission of the US government and you will be able to get a driver's license that is valid as long as you are authorized to stay.

    You can get one anytime!

Depends on the State. Bring your Live Birth, F1 Visa, Credit Cards, Utility Bills, etc....

Go to the DMV and apply. I think they will only give you a permit that will expire in 2015 like your visa.
