Is it possible to dislocate the shoulder with no pain?

I currently have multi-directional instability and shoulder subluxation in my left shoulder. That means my shoulder slips or partially dislocates from the front, back, and down. When it's slipped, I have to move my arm around until it pops and I feel it slide back into place. I'm doing PT and if it's not better come March, I'll need surgery.

I was told that I have a higher risk of completely dislocating my shoulder. I don't have any pain when my shoulder has slipped, so I'm just wondering if I were to completely dislocate my shoulder, would I still feel bad pain?
