    f(x) = x^3 - x^2 - 12x + x^2 - 16

    f(x) = x(x^2 - x - 12) + (x - 4)(x + 4)

    f(x) = x(x - 4)(x + 3) + (x - 4)(x + 4)

    f(x) = (x - 4)(x(x + 3) + x + 4)

    f(x) = (x - 4)(x^2 + 4x + 4)

    f(x) = (x - 4)(x + 2)^2

    zeros are at : x = -2, 4
