Fred Matchmaker lists the fees the US Fiance will have to pay
Expect the process to take 6-9 months. Because Ghana is a major country for romance scams, USCIS is going to be extra vigilant to make sure this is a real love relationship and not someone using a US citizen for a green card. They are going to be paying the most attention to how much time you have actually spent together to verify the relationship is real or not. Online relationships mean nothing - what they will look at is the amount of time you have physically spent together. Since an unmarried Ghanaian has almost no chance of getting a tourist visa to the US, the US citizen is going to need to go to Ghana and spend time there - the longer the better. If you go for a week then file the visa, it's going to be rejected. If you go for 3 weeks, then go again 6 months later for 2 weeks, it will usually be accepted.

Stay in Ghana.
Buy a gold mine.
Own an army of Chinese slaves.
And be happy.
Do not enter the U.S. with your 8 husbands and 20 kids who aren't even yours.

You cannot "buy" a fiance visa in Ghana. The US partner must file a petition for their foreign fiance, and must prove sufficient earnings to support the intended spouse. In addition to current paystubs, the last 3 years of US income tax returns are required.
Prospective marriage partners must prove they met in person, face-to-face, within the 2 years preceding filing the petition. Prove an ongoing "till death do us part" commitment to marriage. With the high rates of fraud from Nigeria, Ghana, etc, anyone with boyfriend/girlfriend met online should beware - you are being set up to be victim of fraud.
