How do the E4 stings/adverts/bumpers appeal to the target audience?

    They tend to play the advertisements during competitor's shows. As it has now moved from E4 to Sky1, Modern Family is a big target audience.

    Whilst the show was still on E4, "Don't Stop Believing" was played continuously. This has now become an iconic song for Glee that even those who are not very familiar with the show or its characters are aware that Glee have sung this song. Also, during the Season one and two UK hiatus, the cast performed on The X Factor UK, which is an extremely popular television programme aimed at many ages from a UK audience.

    Glee moved to Sky for the 3rd series.

    They play that god awful cover of Don't Stop Believin which has nothing on the original
