What job/career path is this? **COLLEGE PLANNING**?
I want to do something globally/community-service oriented, possibly involving photography and definitely involving travel.
I MAYBE want to work with a global initiative, something similar to afca ( http://afcaids.org/ ) .. this organization helps african children with aids as well as providing them with education, food. ect.
I am REALLY interested in photography and I like psychology (if that matters)
What is careers am I looking at?
No need to be condescending. I plan on attaining a PHD and I currently attend one of the nation's top high schools. I don't live under a rock and I realize the current state of the economy. That is the reason why I am struggling with finding my career path, because I REALIZE I can't just go to art school.
Instead of being judgmental and obnoxious, try helpful.
Hobbies need to stay hobbies? I don't want to be stuck in a cubicle miserable for the rest of my life. I want to do something I enjoy. If I can fit photography, my biggest passion, into the equation, it would be fantastic. Thus the question.

4 year college graduate are not finding jobs.
Have you even talked to your parents about this?
Employers are not hiring. No job demand.
Psychology requires a PHD if you want to make any money.
This could be 8 years of college. And lots of money.
Without the PHD, you fall into social work.
One of the lowest paying careers out there.
Don't kids do any research before asking here?
Sometimes hobbies need to stay hobbies.
In this nasty economy you need to research what companies NEED.
So you can have a job to put food on the table.
