Is pricewaterhousecoopers similar to a real estate agency?

I know pwc isn't a real estate company, but are they similar in the sense that you pretty much work for yourself or do you actually work for the company?

I would think that PWC would have salaried employees, and maybe some partners.

A real estate firm usually employs agents under an agency contract, which means the agents are on commsion, and not a salary. This means the work they do benefits them, as an agent, and also the agency.
