What programming language is easier to learn and best for game development?

I'm learning C++ now and am thinking of Python next.

    I love Python but even still, I say stick with one you're currently learning, if you didn't start learning it yesterday. C++ is a very good language to know.


    Oh you're planning to finish learning C++, sorry misread. That's good then. Once you've learned it I'm positive that learning Python will be dead easy. If it's hard it'll probably be because it's too easy, if that makes sense. It'll be your scripting/prototyping language. You'll actually have more fun than you thought was possible writing code in python. So yes, I would say good idea for the next one.
