    Well I suppose it would be Cream, but I'd call that blues influenced rock.

    Re: Melting Media's comments about Edgar Winter's White Trash & Floyd Radford -

    Prior to joining Edgar Winter's White Trash, guitarist Floyd Radford was a member of the Florida blues/rock trio Tin House. Here's a video that I uploaded to YouTube a couple years ago featuring a few cuts from their lone LP released late 1970. My video features a vinyl rip, along with imagery sourced from my original Tin House vinyl LP;

    We can put Tin House right up there among my favourite blues rock trios as well ;)

    Taste (w/Rory Gallagher) and Bakeloo (feat. Dave "Clem" Clempson) are a couple other blues rock trios worth mentioning...

    Good call,Neal.Robin Trower was also in a trio with Jack Bruce called BLT.Narrowing it down to strictly blues trios - Hound Dog Taylor and the Houserockers.The Houserockers were Brewer Phillips on guitar and Ted Harvey on drums.

    And let the questions about the late,great Hound Dog Taylor begin.

    +++Gee,I wonder which person here doesn't like Hound Dog Taylor?++++

  • Robin Trower

    If you're going to make me define Blues a little narrower than Robin Trower, than I'm going with Johnny Winter's early trios when he variously played with Tommy Shannon, Randy Jo Hobbs, Uncle John Turner, and that other drummer whose name I forget, like Behrinher or Zeringer or something.

    Blues aside - if your question about That's All Right Mama was serious, acquaint yourself ASAFP with Scotty, Bill and Elvis
