The 33,000 is an extreme exaggeration used by those wishing to put down the Protestant churches in order to lift up themselves. They desire to divide rather than unify. They want you to believe the implication that each of these churches have a different doctrine, which they clearly do not.

If the same church is in two different countries, then they count it as two churches. If their names are different but the doctrine the same, then they count them as different churches. If they emphasize different things during worship services, then they count them as different churches. If they belong to a different association of churches, then they count them as different churches, even if the doctrine is the same. Even the Catholic church is counted as 242 different churches (which they intentionally will not tell you).

This is all about deception. The church, as talked about in the Bible, is the fellowship of believers (in Jesus Christ) and NOT about a particular denomination or sect. There are true believers found in both the Catholic church and the Protestant churches who love the Lord with all their heart mind and soul, follow His Word, share the Gospel and glorify the Lord in all they say and do.

i will assume you go with a Christian to respond to in any different case this is not significant to you? i'm a Protestant (Christian Reformed that's like Presbyterian) and that i haven't any problems with calling Roman Catholics Christians. Luther grow to be Catholic who needed to make certain the church tone down a number of the practices that have been presented over the years and to instruct to the Bible somewhat greater for a number of the solutions to questions. The Catholics had some traditions that have been surpassed down orally and he mistrusted a number of them so the emphasis grow to be placed on the Bible. Luther grow to be no longer happy to cut up removed from the church. After Luther, the Roman Catholic church did make some differences too. There are arguments approximately another denominations and no depend if or no longer they're Christian yet there is little doubt that Roman Catholics are Christians. Protestants do in contrast to three of the practices they have yet there are others that we could earnings from gaining knowledge of - fairly prayer and serving others.

Jesus' church is in the heart. It is not of this world. Church denominations are people doing their best to learn about God. Since people don't know everything all at once, they disagree on some issues, but in the end Jesus with make it plain to all of them. And you know how people don't like to listen to each other, much less to God.

There are those that try to eat the cake and have it.

The bottom line is that you need to change for God ;He can't change for you.
