What famous man (never a Republican, though they try to claim him) said these words?

It was statements like this that led Republicans at the time to call him a "communist."

    Oh but Dr King and his father were both registered Republicans ,the party of Lincoln,as most black at the time

    FDR started the ball rolling with ''the New Deal''

    Dr King had a meeting with LBJ and said he could trust this Democrat and in short order we found out why ''the Great Society'' massive welfare and that sealed the deal

    Yes, the horrible Republicans like JFK, and LBJ branded MLK a communist.

    Although he is not technically a Republican, he has been suspected of having a communist past.

    Back then Republicans over all were decent people

    But that has not been the case since Nixon.

    Now they are a greedy viscous lot .

    Yes.

    MLK was a democrat.

    He was protesting DEMOCRAT Jim Crow laws.

    He was protesting DEMOCRAT politicians.

    He was protesting the oppression of states that were 100% democrat.
