Should I pierce my own ear?

I have the stuff to clean the needle. I don't mind the pain either and also know where the tissue is. I have two lobe piercings but that's all, and have wanted more for some time. I also have the correct materials to keep the area from becoming infected.

Although of course when I got my ears pierced a Claire's, it got badly infected. Gladly it's all better now. My friends also have their own self-piercings.

Should I? Or is it still a bad idea.

It depends on how your going to, but if it got infected at Claires it will have a higher chance of getting infected when you do it yourself

I wouldn't risk it, go to a different claire's and wear real silver earing for the first few months. Metals can infect the ear.

Go to a professional, rather be safe than sorry.

It only costs around £10-20 and will be less painful.

No your ear can get badly infected. But if you want to you still can.
