    8 cents = 1 dollar

    = 100 dollars ---> to get from 1 , to 100, you have to multiply by 100.

    What you do to one side, you must do to the other.

    8 * 100 = 800

    800 cents = 100 dollars

    800 pennies

    a dollar contains 100 pennies

    100/8 = 12.5

    so you get 12.5 dollars for 100 pennies
