What animes are like these ones?

So, i'm looking for a really emotional anime to watch.

i want an anime that can compare to AnoHana, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, and/or Angel Beats! (and to a lesser extent Elfen Lied) please.

Thank you! Also, if you could give a very brief description of the anime, that'd be much appreciated :)

    - fate/zero - A prequel to fate/stay night, but actually adapted by a good animation studio. It tells the story of Emiya Kiritsugu and the Holy Grail War prior to fate/stay night's, where seven masters call upon seven servants to fight for one wish. This was written by the same person who wrote Madoka Magica, and you can see that some of the themes are similar.

    - CLANNAD and CLANNAD After Story - A Key anime, made by the same creators of Angel Beats! It basically tells the story of Tomoya's life, and the theme of family is central to this series. In my opinion, it is Key's best work. You will laugh and cry so much when watching this.

    - Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 - Its story concept came from the fact that a major earthquake was predicted to hit Japan in the next 30 years - and it did, in a different location (2011 Tohoku Earthquake). It tells the story of two siblings who are visiting a robot exhibition in Tokyo when a massive earthquake hits. Separated from their family, they have to go back home on foot and deal with the tragedies that the incident left on their lives.

    - Toradora! - A romantic comedy about a group of friends, following the protagonists Ryuuji (who looks like a delinquent but actually is a nice guy) and Taiga (the Palm-Top Tiger). It gets pretty dramatic in the second half of the series.

    - Steins;Gate - A series that influenced the writer of Madoka. It follows the self-proclaimed mad scientist Okabe Rintarou and his Future Gadget Lab members as they discover a way to send messages back in time.

Hmmm try "Shiki".. 2nd to my favorite after Deathnote..

it is a horror/suspense and a little gore.. wait dont tell yourself its not good. actually its beyond that.

ok summary! The story is about a small village isolated because of mountains and the other village is miles away.. and then family of vampires appeared.. infecting and making the villagers their ally to have a new village full of vampires and attack the next.. so whats emotional? How can you kill a vampire when he or she is a member of your family or a lover? just how? especially when she doesnt changed at all except that she/he became a vampire.. 9.5/10

    Another Anime for you is..

"Wolf's Rain" its not new unlike the one mentioned above.(its not that new either but this one is couple of years aired. )

Plot: An old tale that when the end of the world comes, paradise will appear and only wolves can find it. In this anime wolves said to be extinct but some said that others survived by taking the form of a human. Rating" 9/10

Next is Mobile Suit Gundam 00..

cant give you much about details but ill give you a rating(im getting laaazzy.. XD) 8.5/10

You can also try this animes

Jormungand season 1 is done its now airing its second season 9.5/10

full metal alchemist (2003) and FMA Brotherhood 9 for the 2003 and and.5 for the brotherhood..

One day kirito gets a bet from asuna's guild and if he wins against the leader he can stay solo but if not he joins the guild. But sadly kirito lost but soon asuna and kirito fall in love and get married so they got permission to take a break as a honeymoon soon they find a girl and start raising her as thier child but finds out shes an immortal object and dissapears in front of thier eyes while fighting a boss. Blood+ - Under the care of her adoptive family, Saya Otonashi has been living the life of an anemic amnesiac, but otherwise ordinary schoolgirl. However, her happy life is shattered when she is attacked by a Chiropteran, learning that she is the only one who can defeat them.

Ouran High School Host Club- At the ultra prestigious Ouran High School, Haruhi Fujioka looks for a quiet place to read and walks into an unused music room, and accidentally stumbles across the notorious Ouran High School Host Club, a group of boys who entertain the girls of the school for profit. When Haruhi accidentally breaks an expensive vase belonging to the wacky Host Club, she is made to serve under them until her debt is paid off. Haruhi is soon made a Host, but in order to pay off what she owes, she must continue to allow the Host Club's customers to believe she is a boy.

InuYasha- Kagome Higurashi is a 15 year old schoolgirl who lives at a history-filled Japanese shrine.

GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka- Eikichi Onizuka is a 22-year-old ex-gang member and a virgin. While peeping up girls' skirts at a local shopping mall, Onizuka meets a girl who agrees to go out on a date with him.

Bleach- Ichigo Kurosaki is a teenager gifted with the ability to see spirits. His life is drastically changed by the sudden appearance of a Soul Reaper—one who governs the flow of souls between the human world and the afterlife.

Hana Yori Dango- Eitoku Academy is a school that caters to children and from rich, high-society families. Hence, Makino, who comes from a poor family, is considered by others as the "weed" of the school. The school is ruled by the "Flower Four" group, more commonly known as the F4. The F4 leader, and son of the wealthiest, most powerful family in Japan, Tsukasa Domyouji, takes an interest in Tsukushi because she is the only girl at Eitoku who does not fawn over him. However, his hot-headed nature and bullying ways are originally a major turn-off for Tsukushi, who has her sights set on Rui Hanazawa.

Fruits Basket- (my favorite) When high school student Tohru Honda's mother dies in a car accident, Tohru begins living in a tent and supporting herself. That is, until she finds a home in the least likely of places, inhabited by her classmate Yuki Sohma and his cousins Shigure and Kyo. The Sohmas however, live with a curse.

    D. Gray-man- D.Gray-man follows the adventures of 15-year-old Allen Walker, whose left arm can transform into a monstrous claw and destroy Akuma, evolving machines created by the Millennium Earl to help him destroy humanity

Kare Kano- Yukino Miyazawa is a Japanese high school freshman who is the envy of classmates for her good grades and immaculate appearance. However, her "perfect" exterior is a façade, a charade she maintains to win praise. In the privacy of her own home, she is spoiled, stubborn, a slob, and studies relentlessly and obsessively to maintain her grades. On entering high school, she is knocked from her position at the top of the class by Soichiro Arima, a handsome young man whose very existence Yukino considers a threat to the praise on which she thrives, and she vows to destroy him. When Soichiro confesses that he has a crush on her, Yukino rejects him then boasts about it at home. Her observant little sister Kano points out that her rivalry with him comes from admiration, causing her to rethink her own feelings.

Hana Kimi- Mizuki Ashiya, a Japanese girl living in the United States, watches a program on TV featuring a high jumper named Izumi Sano. She was amazed by his performance and begins following his athletic career. Years later, she does research on him and discovers that he is currently attending Osaka High School. The school is unfortunately an all-boys school and Mizuki convinces her parents to send her to Japan by herself.

Death Note- Light Yagami is an intelligent young adult who resents all things evil. He also wishes to end crime in the world and create a utopia in which he reigns supreme. His life undergoes a drastic change when he discovers the Death Note, a notebook that contains five written instructions.
