Accident with fire truck?
My daughter 17, has accident with fire truck. She was going on green signal and did not see the truck. Police give her a ticket. How we can fight that...???

You can hire an attorney and spend hundreds of dollars (possibly more) or you can pay the ticket.
Chances of winning for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle are very, very slim.

Wow. Just pay the ticket and lecture your daughter for being an inattentive/dangerous driver.
Emergency vehicle gets the right of way. Going to be pretty hard to get out of that. Maybe send daughter to defensive driving class...Source(s): Logic.

Firetrucks running through red lights must have their lights and sirens going and cannot go through faster than 15 mph. You must yield to emergency vehicles running their lights and sirens. Loud stereos can prevent you from hearing the siren, but that's not useful as a defense. I think you need to talk to your insurance agent. This is going to cost you.
