With Sandy approaching, are we finally going to get to see the Citicorp Building come toppling down?

Why would you want to see a thing like that happen?

My friend, unfortunately now. There are two reason why.
First, New York City is not going to get a direct hit from Sandy. However, the storm's massive size will have an affect on the city in the form of heavy rain, high wind and localized flooding.
This is the reason why all public transit services have been suspended and all schools in the city are closed until Wednesday.
Second, the building is retro-fitted to prevent this time of event. There is a video or two online show with regards to the building's design flaw and how it was fixed.
For the latest on the storm, check my blog at the link below, which has a live video feed from the Weather Channel.
