Why does the GOP still exist?

They wage wars on a hoax or to settle a family vendetta.

They crash the world's financial markets and then obstruct any effort to clean up their mess.

They value selfishness and exploitation of the few vs. cooperation and developing the potential of human beings.

The GOP is despicable and needs to be dissolved.

GOP remains a contender due to two main factors: 1) People are greedy. 2) Churches steer their members to the GOP due to abortion and gay marriage type issues. There are enough people in these groups to keep the GOP relevent

Your first point is FALSE--ALL 'intelligence' agencies around the WORLD thought that Saddam HAD WMD's--get OVER it--Crash the world's financial markets? You mean like George Soros, 'darling' of the Democrats? He is a convicted FELON in France! Read TWO books--Atlas Shrugged--read ALL of it--it IS a 'difficult' read, but WORTH it--Also, The Great American Bank Robbery--LEARN how your 'precious' Dems are the REAL reason we have the housing crisis we do in this country--Bill Clinton AND Janet Reno helped--a LOT!!! Despicable? Dissolved? Let's throw OUT the First Amendment (freedom of expression,duh...) while we're at it---you're under 40 years old, aren't you? lol

The same could be said of Democrats.

Waging wars, jacking up the country's debt, and exploitation is matter of perspective are a Democrats mantra. Get it right next time you want to Rant.

    G ... greedy

    O ... obstinate

    P ... people

The base core is white men. Blacks, latinos strongly vote the dem party ... female voters tend more so toward liberal as well while these male rep politicians want to tell them what to do w/ their body.

The rep party will lose popularity as the minorities gain a stronger piece of the population unless the party changes significantly.

You finger the GOP and absolve the "other party"? They're both responsible for the repeal of Glass-Steagall (78% or BOTH parties in BOTH houses voted for Graham Bliley Leach).

Trashing us won’t change the truth about your party.

How democrats treat our troops: http://mvpproject.org/in-the-news/va-mil: 92% drop in absentee-ballot requests by military personnel in Virginia is raising concerns that the Pentagon is failing to carry out a federal voting law, nationwide.

If you want America to CHANGE, vote for Obama:

-FDR articulated what Obama calls CHANGE before Congress, 1/11/44: “We have accepted, so to speak, a second Bill of Rights...” [including]: The right: to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation; of every family to a decent home; to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health; to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment.

[Of course, democrats rarely credit our semi-capitalist, Constitutional economic system with doing a pretty da%n&* good job of achieving those goals. Until their utopian CHANGE is achieved they’ll never be satisfied]

-LBJ’s CHANGE, The Great Society, became the largest redistribution of wealth program in history. But Obama will out-CHANGE them all.

It’s only because of the Internet, talk radio and Fox News (non-existent a generation ago!) that we are learning what democrats mean by CHANGE: Replacing our Constitution with a European-style welfare state -- and Obama has succeeded beyond their wildest dreams:

-2/4/10 Gallup poll: 61% of liberals have a positive view of socialism.

-6/2/11 Gallup poll: 71% of democrats favor re-distributing wealth.

-9/6-9/2012 http://www.gallup.com/poll/157481/majori, a poll on those who believe government should have more control over our lives: Republicans 15%; Independents, 29%; Democrats 67%.

-Now they have national health care, the foundation of all welfare and socialist states.

Too many democrats discard the wisdom of our Founders:

-Ben Franklin: "When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic."

-Thomas Jefferson: "A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”

    Democrats invented modern racism:

-pbs.org: “The Klan quickly became a terrorist organization in service of the Democratic Party and white supremacy. Between 1869 and 1871 its goal was to destroy Congressional Reconstruction by murdering blacks -- and some whites -- who were either active in Republican politics or educating black children.”

-pbs.org: After [democrat] Wilson was elected in 1912 blacks were segregated or dismissed from federal positions.

-6/11/12 npr.org: 100 members of Congress, 96 Democrats and 4 Republicans, present a "Declaration of Constitutional Principles" that criticized the Supreme Court in its Brown v. Board of Education decision for desegregating schools and protested civil rights initiatives.

-“George Wallace [democrat] of Alabama proclaimed 'Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.'” wikipedia

-Who promoted the 1964 Civil Rights Act outlawing discrimination against Blacks and women? In the Senate, Republicans 80%, democrats 63%, in the House, Republicans 80%, democrats 61%,

-Which party opposed the 1965 Civil Rights Act? In the Senate, democrats 27%, Republicans 6%; in the House, democrats 22%, Republicans 18%.

-For years Dem. Senator Robert Byrd was the "Grand Dragon" of the entire Mid-Atlantic States. (6/19/05 Washington Post). He filibustered the Civil Rights Act of 1964. He was the longest-serving senator in history and democrats chose him as their Senate leader many times. He died in-office two years ago, about which: “VP Biden said today that with the passing of Sen. Robert Byrd the Senate lost a legend and he lost a dear friend and mentor.” 6/28/10 ABC News

-12/3/93 The Baltimore Sun, Jesse Jackson: "I hate to admit it, but I have reached a stage in my life that if I am walking down a dark street late at night and I see that the person behind me is white, I subconsciously feel relieved.”

-http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2012/: The New Yorker, Bill Clinton said: “A few years ago, this guy [Obama] would have been carrying our bags.”

The Obama campaign is going through the political equivalent of the five stages of grief:

ANGER: Mitt Romney is a baby eating, woman hating, seal clubbing, company killing Nazi vulture capitalist who wants nothing more than to give more benefits to his billionaire friends while the middle class rows his yacht. No way anybody will vote for him. We've so got this in the bag.

DENIAL: There's no possible way Romney can win. Nate Silver and Intrade say so.

BARGAINING: Ok, Romney may have won the first debate. And he looked OK in the 2nd and 3rd. And he actually looks like a President. And his running mate knows what state he's in. And he's been over 50% in Gallup for over a week. And we haven't got a prayer of taking back the House. But, if all else fails, just please God let us hold the Senate and we'll still be OK.

DEPRESSION: OMG, Romney might actually win and the Republicans might take over. Time to start dusting off the resume or start checking bus fares to Canada.

and on November 7th we'll see how they deal with ACCEPTANCE!!

the main substantial issue is which you and a number of of others have at a loss for words the term, "conservative." that may no longer a term pertaining to social themes. It refers to financial and financial ideals. i'm a "conservative" who ought to care much less approximately all the different themes you stated.

  • To offset the Democrats.
