    Girls:

    1. Audrey- I like this so much better than Katherine in any spelling. It is much more unique and it ages well.

    2. Ingrid- My mother recently passed away and one of her favorite songs was "The way I am" by Ingrid Michaelson. It is also the song I plan to walk down the aisle to on my wedding; so I have to go with Ingrid.

    3. Marilyn- every time I think of the name Greta, I think of Hansel and Gretel, and I don't want my child to have to go through that...

    4. Lillian- I despise the name Elizabeth. Much too common, too boring, and too many negative Elizabeths in my life.

    5. Actually I couldn't pick here. I absolutely love the name Ava Grace, and that is my choice- to put the two together.

    6. Sophia- I love the name. It ages well also and it would sound good shortened to Sophie, which is one of my favorite names.

    7. Mae- but only as a middle name. I like it, it's pretty, but it's too short for a first name.

    8. Lauren- I'm just not a fan of the name Lucille, even though I LOVE I love Lucy!

    9. Marlene- if it is pronounced Mar-Lee-Nah. I would just probably change the spelling a little. Like putting an 'a' at the end.

    10. Joan- Judy just sounds too old fashioned.

    Boys:

    1. Neither, to be completely honest. They are horrible!

    2. Charlie- Cary does not sound like a boy's name. I would not do that to my child.

    3. Spencer- but I like this for a boy or a girl.

    4. James- I like the name John, but they are both really common.

    5. Orson- I like the uniqueness of it.

    6. Gary- Gregory sounds too much like a last name.

    7. Laurence- Same reason as Cary.. Sidney just sounds too feminine.

    8. William- even though it gives them a lot to live up to, I love the classic-ness of this name.

    9. Kirk- I have always loved this name.

    10. Gene- I have a grandpa named Gene.
