It is extremely difficult to have a foreign car in Morocco.

First you must accompany the car when it arrives and have all the relevant papers.

Second you can not have the car in Morocco for longer than 6 months.

Third if you want to leave Morocco, you must take the car with you. You can't leave without the car. You cannot sell the car unless it is registered in Morocco.

Fourth after 4, 6 month periods , with exits at the end of each 6 months, the car has to have Moroccan registration and this is very expensive, often as much as the car is worth..

If you are going to live in Morocco, why not buy a car here? It is so much easier to have a Moroccan registered car.

There are Nissan dealers in Morocco. In fact if you ask around you could get a dealer to import it for you..much, much easier.

You can get all the information online at www.moroccan govt.ma but its in French

I see this is an older question, but anyone thinking about doing this should make sure they know what they're getting into. There are tax and harmonization rules for different countries that have to be followed to import a vehicle legally. Call up some companies (A-1 Auto Transport is a good one to start with) and ask them what's involved. Their answer will tell you if they know their stuff, then you can compare prices.
