How to access files from secondary drive?

I recently installed a 128GB SSD into my computer with a clean install of Windows 7. I had a 750GB HDD for about a year before upgrading. Now whenever I try to open any file from my HDD it makes me install it into my SSD in order for it to open. How can I set up my system so I can access all my games and other programs/files without first installing into my SSD especially because I don't have room for all of it.

Both drives are SATA 3. Any advice and instructions would be great!

Did you install the operating system on 128GB SSD ? If yes then go to Start and search for "partition".It will show only one option, open it and you'll see the partition managing window.

Right click on your SSD drive and choose "Mark Partition as Active".

Reboot and see if it works.
