Calling all anime fans!!!!!?
For an art project I could either draw a realistic human being or anime character. I chose anime.
We have to stick to these guidelines:
You must replicate a picture from the internet
It must be appropriate
The anime character will need to be detailed
I'm trying to look up good pictures I could draw with my wide selection of supplies: colored pencils. I'd appreciate so much if you gave me a few ideas of what characters I could draw or left a link to them.

Good choice. In a way, anime characters are easier to draw, because they have exaggerated features, certainly far more easier to draw than realistic people, because being off in realism in the slightest will make people look, well... unreal.
I would suggest a character from your favorite anime.
I love Fullmetal Alchemist, hehe
So, Edward Elric... he's pretty awesome. He's got the typical big eyes, and silly hair. His automail (the metal prosthetics he has) will certainly make for an awesome addition, instead of just a plain anime character :p
I would say you can do his brother, Alphonse, but he's more interesting as the suit of armor, and that may not be allowed in your project.
Here's a link to a list of characters from Fullmetal Alchemist:

But really, it's your choice if you're into anime

Try http://www.animecharactersdatabase.com/ . It lets you put in traits and then brings up a list of characters that fit those traits. It also provides pictures and the anime that the character is in.
