If I sell someone a potato gun can i be sued if they get hurt using it and is there anyway I can continue sell?

I am 17 years old and like making stupid things like potato guns I made one and had someone buy it off of me for twice of what i made it for. I'd like to continue making and selling them but my family is scared of being sued. Potato guns are legal where I live and are not considered firearms.

anyone to stupid to make their own potato gun is too stupid to use one

then you'll need ot get him to sign a little bit of liability waiver before buying, or create an instant agreement that if you were to use this product you agree that maker has no injury, civil or criminal liability.
