how to make a kitchen table mat not move around?

it is constantly slipping around is there something i can put underneath?

    You can get those perforated rubber anti-skid mats sold for putting under area rugs to keep them from slipping underfoot. They can be easily into any size you wish.

    Get some of those little adhesive Velcro strips. Just put one on the table and the mat. And don't worry they come off without damaging the surface
