Why do Liberals keep pointing to meaningless early voting exit polls in Iowa?

Absentee ballots were sent out to Democrats at a 5-1 margin over republicans. All it means is that Republicans, and independents are waiting until election day to throw Obama out of office.

Update 2:

"The Iowa Secretary of State’s office said Democrats had a 5-to-1 advantage over Republicans in the numbers of absentee ballots requested statewide. "

Update 3:

so Dems requesting ballots at a 5:1 pace over Pubs is proof that the Pubs will win.

    Interesting Logic.

i don't put a lot of stock in polls but i will say on the local news tonight there sure were many people lining up to vote at early voting stations. most said they were voting obama. im not saying it means anything one way or the other just telling what i saw.

Source(s): local iowa news i live in iowa. IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) -- Early voting has started in Iowa as Democrats seek to secure votes for President Barack Obama's re-election and build a pre-Election Day advantage over Republican challenger Mitt Romney. Voters lined up as county auditor's offices opened Thursday to be among the first to have their say in the battleground state, one of the first where the election process is now in full swing. Retired University of Iowa clerical worker Jane Ommen voted for Obama at the Johnson County Auditor's Office in Iowa City (photo). A Democratic-leaning independent, Ommen says she voted for the president because she feels he's honest and can empathize with ordinary people. State data shows Democrats had built a nearly 5-1 advantage in absentee ballot requests as of Wednesday, with roughly 119,000 compared to 25,000 for Republicans.

It just means Dems are usually too lazy, drunk or high to make it to the Polls on Election Day. They also most likely filled out the ballots wrong and forgot to sign them, assuming they could read them in the first place.

Because getting the base votes out early is a smart move.

I don't put any stock in that; I don't know any Democrat who does.

    I put stock in this:

    www.fivethirtyeight.com

He was EXACTLY correct on the electoral college count in 2008. And right now he shows Obama with an 81.9% chance of winning.

If what you say is true (and how you would know this without any proof is puzzling), but assuming you know this is true, why complain about it? You will be shown to be true when the final election results are released.

The funny thing is we can point to virtually any poll in the country, and it will still favor Obama - including conservative news polls
