Out of all the years the WWE has been in business, which year had the best roster?

I would say 1997.

1997 had WWE/F veterans working the main events, some of the biggest names from WCW, ECW, Japan and Mexico were in the WWF and UFC fighters were in the WWF at that time.

    each year from 1996 thru 2006 had the best roster but 1998 has the greatest out of all of them

    any year that had variety of talent is a good year. but then again whenever developmental were to send people up to the big shows its was just 5 of the same exact thing using the same exact moves and the same exact poses.
