Isn't it funny how Decker and Thomas are no longer the miserable receivers people made them out to be?
When Tebow was Denver's QB last year, all I heard was how he couldn't succeed because he had a miserable supporting cast, whose two top receivers (Decker and Thomas) couldn't catch a ball to save their lives.
So.... did they both decide to start wearing some kind of adhesive for 2012, or does having an actual QB with a good arm make just a little bit of difference?
Drew, it's from Revenge of the Nerds.

Who in their right mind was blaming the receivers?! I thought everyone knew it was Tebow.
The only thing about Decker is the dude was always injured in college. Back then, college football fans only heard about how good he was--we hardly saw it. The only knock on him ever should have been that he wouldn't stay upright long enough to show he's a good WR.

What to watch: which of the two receivers will emerge as Peyton's favorite. In game 1 they were targeted the same number of times. However, Thomas was more successful making contested grabs.

Having Peyton Manning as their QB makes a big difference

Accuracy is everything in the modern NFL passing game. Mannings got it (even after 4 surgeries and missing a year of football), Tebow does not.

Why are people hating on Tebow? He's clutch.
Also, Peyton can make anyone look great, and those are two above average receivers.

It's because they don't have Brandon Lloyd anymore and have to focus on the targets they have, practice goes a long ways.

Yeah. They went from having a bad throwing QB to the greatest QB of all time.
