i think of of fifty's, 60's and doubtless very early 70's as oldies and that i'm 23. Doo-wop, rock and roll, and ballads that have that tinny "oldies" sound. i think of it is going to stay that way. i could classify each thing after that as classic Rock and dad. 80's music is 80's music. there is quite no incorrect thank you to categorise it. It had a very distinctive sound. The day that 80's music will become oldies is the day I cry, lol... i'm getting quite unhappy as quickly as I hear Pearl Jam on the classic Rock station already...
