Concealer is great for hiding minor imperfections, dark circles under your eyes, small scars, or one or two blemishes. I wouldn't recommend covering large areas with concealer because it looks unnatural.
What I would recommend is a primer and light foundation. EyesLipsFace (elf) makes a wonderful silky smooth primer for about 3-5 dollars. Order it online or find it at target. Apply this first, a small bit. It helps to smooth your skins texture and hide pores.
Then I love covergirls nature luxe foundation. It is light, blendable, and build able. I'd also get a setting powder, preferably withou tint, but a matching shade will do.
After the primer, apply the foundation, start with only a small amount and blend. If you find you need more coverage, say on yor chin for a little acne, set your foundation with a little powder, then apply a little more foundation, again blend. You can continue this pattern for more stubborn spots. It will save you from having to deal with concealer and will look more natural. Just remember to always start out with little product. You can always add more if you need. Finish the whole look with a very light dusting of powder, then setting spray of you have it (elf also makes an affordable spray an it smells delish!) you can also put a pea sized amount of face lotion in your hands, rub it a little, then gently pat your cheeks, over your makeup. This will give it a fresh, dewey look.
Voila! Flawless skin!
