What is a "green" way to wash fruits & veggies? Is it ok to use dish soap and water?

I wash them with Dawn dish soap. Is that ok, or is there a "green" method that should be used instead?

I just rinse them, not legit wash them.

And for the record, farm kids have better immune systems because they get around in the dirt. So a little dirt is good for you.

There is no "green" way to wash fruits and veggies because the standard way of washing them is not non-green. Assuming that overused term even has any meaning.

Use recycled water, like use the toilet before you flush
