    Im going to be honest with you, i do not really listen to jazz music all like that However, I am familiar with some of this bass players. Dave Carpenter, Paul Chambers, Red mitchell and marc king. I listen to a large variety of music and sometimes tend to venture off into other genre's to familiarize myself with other artist and to open up to new music. I can't give you ten people because i barely know any of these bass players. But here is my small list anyways, hope it is good enough:
