i will share my input, costco has a brand of generic food that is the same ingredient's as the taste of the wild salmon and sweet potato formula, that stuff is recommended from the animal shelter and the vet's around here.

while it is not the best, it is pretty good for food, has no grain's.

Because of shipping, online dog food is almost always more expensive than locally obtained. The SAMs club own brand of food, exceed, is supposed to be a good value and a decent quality. Some feed stores can accept bulk shipments from select companies..

Generally it is not cheaper online. You may be able to cut a deal with a local feed store if you are buying in bulk. We do that. It will depend on the store and the number of bag you are buying at once.
