Refrigerator/sanwich unit, installed new compressor and it wont start?

I removed the old compressor ,installed new one,it was an exact match number for number ,I had a nice flow of nitrogen the whole time when brazing,I leak tested the system ,flushed with nitrogen, pulled a neg.30mcg vacuum for 30 mins ,added a boost of 134a to bring the system up to 0 and I plugged the unit in and compressor clicks every once in a while but it won't start and pull the charge in,I checked the voltage coming into the unit and its good,I wired everything the way that it was before on the old compressor and I have nothing,I gave up for the day until my batteries are recharged! Any advice from a pro? Thanks in advance!

The sart device (PTC ) on the compressor is the problem, you probably didn't have to change out the compressor. change the start device, then it should work.
